From This Moment Onward.

There were much tears shed, sooo many stupid choices, a little hatred, and a few deteriorated friendships. Truthfully, I'm very grateful for the hardships faced in 2011; I don't think I'll have the ability to love myself or be happy today without those adversities. Bolded the very to emphasize how much.

From this moment onward you can be an entirely different person, filled with love and understanding, ready with an outstretched hand, uplifted and posItive in every thought and deed" -Eileen Caddy.

Amen to that, Eileen.

Of course there were great times in 2011 too, loads in fact, but somehow I'm more appreciative of the bad ones. You know, the whole rainbow after the rain thing. Ahh I'm so happy :) I think the best way to dismiss pain is to face it head on.

This will be my moto for the year.

To the few readers I have, I will not wish you a Happy New Year because you've probably heard it many times already; I refuse to give a cheesy wish for your year to be prosperous or lucky; and neither will I hope for you to have happiness all year. 

Those are witty lies.

Instead, I pray that you'll gain wisdom to face the problems you'll come across; on nights when you feel that life's not worth living and you want to give up,  I hope you'll find peace and realize that the storm will pass; and during a period of success or accomplishments, I wish for you to be less boastful and be humble instead.
