Flying Kites On Christmas Day

What's the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'Christmas'? For me it's the colors (red,green,white) and oh, snow. I told Melissa and Mae and probably a handful of other people that Christmas doesn't feel like Christmas this year. I texted Mae to say "Christmas is not Christmas without snow!" and she replied "well then it's never Christmas in Malaysia."

Ok I am well aware now that I was wrong.

As usual Christmas morning was spent at church and at first I was like meh just gonna hand out gifts and ciao because it felt like an ordinary Sunday morning. A few Christmas songs were sung and when We Wish You A Merry Christmas was playing we went about shaking hands and...well, wishing people. I was pretty mehh-ish at walking around but I'm glad I did it. It was nice smiling and talking (like a few sentences) to people you don't usually speak to.
