A surprise party was thrown for a friend of mine , Steph.



But what was suppose to be a surprise, didn't turn out to be a surprise at all.
She found out by accident from some people.

But OH well.
We had fun anyways.

but it started raining and we went to the hall instead.

Oh Christmas.
What a great day..

Yes, I did went for my church's Christmas service and it was fun.
But after that? ahhh.. Home Alone.
But whataheck. I received quite some presents.

Although Christmas didn't turn out the way I wanted, I still had fun. I think.

It's Christmas!

I just spend my day wrapping presents.
I'm broke now.
I bought stuffs that I want for myself but I'm now self-forced to give it away.

What is Guo Dong?
My family 'celebrates' it like every year and I still have no idea what it is.
If "GUO DONG" is not the right spelling then correct me. :)
I asked my mom and she said it's "guo dong".
So that's my spelling for it. :P

Since this was a "special day" according to my mom.
She cooked all those typical Chinese food.
And I tell you..if you live at my house, you'll be obese in a month [just like me]. Lol.
My auntie lives just a few doors away and she's like the pro cook slash baker.
From cheese cakes,muffins,donuts to home made roti canai and etc etc.
It tastes good, honestly.

The food she cooks is not like those food my relatives cook during CNY's.
The food they cook tastes like the "try too hard" food.
Lol. I don't know. That's my view of what their cooking tastes like.

Here is the place where a common city girl tells her story. A common city girl that is not so common. Inside, her heart was torn up. But no one knows because she had not told anyone.
In spite of her young age, she has gone through lots. Especially in her family. With all the drama, she needs the company of some one that she could trust. No, she does not have any one. She's loud and she seems to be happy but inside, her wall was falling. She can't help but feel that NO ONE cares about her. Why,you ask? It's just the little things. She wonders, 'what did I do?'. All her life, she could not just say "I'm happy" without the sense of being sad inside. Always, there's something that even she, herself could not tell what.

Here is the place where a common city girl tells her story. This girl is loud and sometimes she's rude. Sometimes she hurts people without knowing. She herself knows she sometimes does not know when is the right time to be funny. But does people know her side of the story of why she's the way she is? Maybe it's to hide how lonely and sad she is inside. Thus it came to past that everyone around her judged her for the wrong reason. She has tried to change to be better.
Yes she had, but did anyone noticed? When she's being nice. Did anyone noticed?

Oh sure. You may think this is another sad story of her to tell. To tell so that you'll show compassion towards her. But no, she's not asking for any compassion of yours. She's just a common city girl and here is the place to tell her story.

She's just trying to find herself.

She goes to church and she knows God loves her. But she just feels that she's not good enough for any one. Oh why she asks. She might just come up to you and sit beside you. And that person might asks 'why is she sitting here?' But don't you know? She just needs to feel that some one "likes" her. She knows that some people do and some people don't. But still, she seeks for more.

And there he was. The person she has always trusted. She told him everything. She trusted him but he chose to hurt her continuously. He doesn't know how greatly important he was to her. But still..they remained friends. She continues to trust him as a friends.
